General Motors buys Suzuki's stake in Canadian assembly plant
Fri, 04 Dec 2009General Motors and Suzuki Motor Corp. are ending their CAMI joint assembly operation in Canada, with Suzuki selling its 50 percent stake to GM in a move that severs another tie between the partners. Designed to take on the likes of the KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom as a road and track toy, the 05 is the work of two Mexican brothers who have backing from the Mexican government. It’ll be on sale in Europe, expected to be its biggest market, from early 2014.
